Harley Davidson Museum: Flag Display Honoring the 10th Anniversary of September 11th

In recognition of the tenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on America, the Harley-Davidson Museum will display thousands of flags that spell the word “Remember” on the Museum grounds. This special display will be in place Saturday, September 10 through Monday, September 12.

There will be 2,792 American flags incorporated in the display, each representing a person who lost his or her life on September 11, 200…1, and 110 Wisconsin flags will be placed next to American flags to represent the Wisconsin soldiers who have lost their lives in the War on Terror since it began in 2003.
