With Summer approaching, the birthday party schedule kicks into full gear. Don’t kids have birthdays during the Winter? It seems like very weekend, we are out buying gifts and a balloon for someone.

Where do you shop for balloons. The local grocery stores charge around $5 for a helium filled mylar balloon. What if you could get 5 for $5?

You can if your neighborhood dollar store sells balloons. Have you checked? Most of the large national chains sell them. Of course, you might not get the latest chic designs, but for a buck, they float just like the others do. And you can usually pick up a card for 50¢ while you’re there too.
