On this date in 1987, Adventures in Babysitting, a comedy-adventure starring Elisabeth Shue, is released through Disney’s Touchstone Pictures. Chris Parker’s quiet evening of babysitting turns into turmoil when she leaves suburbia to rescue a friend in the big city. It is the first PG-13 rated film released by a Disney film division and the 13th feature by Touchstone.
