On this date in 2005, The Disney Channel Original Movie Twitches, starring real-life sisters Tia and Tamera Mowry, debuts. Based on a popular teen book series by H.B. Gilmour and Randi Reisfeld, Twitches will be the #1 basic cable movie of 2005. The film features the song “Rush” – the first official single by pop sisters Aly & AJ.
