Chocolate seems to taste better this time of year. If you have been a reader of JustFindIt4U, you know a couple of things about me: I love shopping at BJ’s, and Alex and I are both chocoholics. When BJ’s offered me the opportunity to sample some of their desserts, what do you think I said?
We picked out a box of Elsa’s Story homestyle cookies. The box contained 3 sealed bags:
Milk chocolate enrobed brown sugar cookie with chocolate cream filling
Raspberry strudel with dark chocolate drizzle
Brown sugared cookies
I liked all 3, the brown sugared cookies were my favorite, which is surprising since they weren’t chocolate.
The Wellsley Farms Mini Fudge Brownie Bites took care of the chocolate fix I needed. I was very impressed with how fresh the brownies were when we opened the plastic box. I snacked on them a la carte, while Alex warmed up 3 of them, then added a scoop of chocolate ice cream to create her own brownie sundae. Very yummy!

Lastly, we tried The Art Of Fudge: Double Chocolate Fudge Fudge. Everything about this fudge was double good. As you can see in the picture, when you open the box you are greeted by a block of fudge, not small pre cut pieces. I chose the double chocolate, but the chocolate peanut butter tempted me too, there were about a half dozen flavors to choose from. The fudge is creamy and smooth, and oh so chocolatey!
Since Alina is a cinnamon bun fan, we also purchased a box of Mini Cinnamon Rolls made by Just Desserts. There are many other dessert choices in the BJ’s Warehouse Clubs, and find others on the BJ’s website. Not a member? Sign up here to receive a free 60 day membership. Do you shop at a price club? Studies have shown that you save on average 30-35% on the cost of groceries purchased in a price club vs a grocery store. The key is to only buy what you will be able to use before needing to throw it away. It isn’t a great deal to save 40% on a gallon jug of mayo, if you don’t use much mayo. Guess where your savings go? Down the drain (or in the can).

If you have a BJ’s membership, you know how tough these coupon booklets are to get. You get one in the mail once a Month or so, but you only get one. Here is a chance to win a second booklet, chock full of coupons targeting young families. Coupons are for goods like diapers, formula, wipes, and more. A few of the coupons are expired, but the majority of them expire on 2/11/12, so you’ll have a couple of weeks to use them.
